Trakehner mare family of O217B Hannelore (Hollatz-Oberrode)

Huno was bred in Canada, and approved by the ATA in 2005. When we first thought about breeding Fair Rock, we wanted something that would bring back that great nick with the German elite stallion Ravel. That bloodline is not overly represented in North America, and we soon found out about Huno. Although younger, he is an active performance horse, which is very important to us. Under his owner, Lyne Joly, the stallion showed successfuly in FEI 5yr old classes in Canada, e.g. at the CDIs Ottawa and Dressage International de Blainville in 2006 and is scheduled for a debut at 2nd level and the six year old FEI classes in 2007.

His sire Magritte is the only approved son of the top dressage stallion EH Van Deyk in North America and carries more performance proven bloodlines through his dam Mischka. EH Van Deyk sired 9 approved sons, among them the two German National Dressage Horse Champions (all breeds!) Kaiserkult TSF and Kaiserdom, as well as the international Grand Prix dressage stallion Polarion. The latter also sired the FEI Eventing Champion Grafenstolz TSF, a CCI*** stallion and the only horse in history to qualify for all three National Championships in Germany in one year (6yr old dressage, show jumping and eventing finals). The TB sire Patricius xx was an accomplished dressage horse, and carries similar bloodlines like the Olympic eventing stallion Windfall, a stallion whom we already used in our breeding program, and with a lot of success: Fairwind.

On the dam side, we have impeccable performance bloodlines and it was of great interest for us to know that a full brother to High Class is the FEI dressage gelding Harlekin! As we're said before, it#s the dams that make your breeding program a success, so the more sport proven a dam line, the better. Hasel II in addition, produced the 3rd/4th level dressage horses Hagen, Habitus and Hennessy, as well as the Level 5 show jumper Hera. High Class was a German model mare and scored 8,8,7/9,9 at her inspection. The dam line of Hannelore and its major branch through Hanna also produced the elite stallion Hyllos (sire of the Grand Prix stallions Solero TSF and Lamborghini), the show jumper sire Heldenberg, the Grand Prix stallion Herzberg, the Inter I stallion Halbgott, the international dressage stallion Chronos, as well as the Italian stallion Heros (Trak by Amiego).

At Fairwind Farm, Huno sired the bay filly Fara's Legacy in 2007.
