Foals of 2007: Fara's Legacy
The joy and pain of breeding became very clear to us in June of 2007, when our great Fair Rock (barn name Fara) delieverd a great, tall bay filly ... and passed away literally minutes after the baby hit the ground. It is so hard to lose a beloved mare, but what more could we ask for than not only a healthy foal with a strong survival instinct, but a filly to continue the line! Fittingly named "Fara's Legacy", her barn name now is "Legs" (she has plent yof those) and she will hopefully continue this excellent family in our breeding operation. Nothing can substitue for Fara, but her legacy sure can live on! For more info on the parents, please check out the interactive pedigree on your right.
Sad update: Legs died in late July 2007 after an aggressive infection forced us to let her go. We miss you!!
