Fair Diva
Fair Diva is a full inspected and approved ATA PSB mare and displays a very harmonious conformation with good feet, an excellent top line and just spectacular Trakehner type. She is a good mover with an especially noteworthy quality to her supple walk and her uphill, powerful canter, which she also maintains under saddle. Fair Diva currently stands 16h and will remain with us for a breeding career.

Trakehner mare family of O102A3 Flocke IV (Gutsverwaltung Gut Schweighof) |
Fair Diva is a most typical Trakehner mare, both in type and her pedigree. A special emphasis in the breed will always be the task to bring in "new" blood. The Trakehner has a so called closed stud book, which means that only Trakehners, TBs, Arabs, Shagyas and Angloarabian stallions and mares can be used to improve. That is a genetic trap, if breeders don't recognize the potential that many of the so called "refinement" sires offer. With only two approved TBs and two approved Arabians in the ATA books, the task is even more tricky to accomplish in North America. That is a reason we're thrilled to have Fair Diva, a mare from a high quality mare line with some of the best "outside" blood that is currently available. Fair Diva is an excellent riding horse, and even as a green 4 yr old participated at a dressage clinic with one of our young students on her back as if she had never had a different job in her life. This mare's temperament is impeccable, and we're very much looking forward to her first foal. Fair Diva delivered a beautiful black filly, Fancey Fair (by Illux) in June 2007!

Fair Diva's sire Rock Point xx was a noted Stakes Winner during his active career as a race horse and for example, finished 3rd in the prestigious Preakness Stakes. His earnings as a race horse are close to $400,000. As a sire in his own breed, he produced a first foal crop that won over $600,000. Rock Point xx is a gorgeous blood bay stallion of great type and stands substantial 16.3h, which make him an interesting partner for warmblood mares. He has been used with considerable success in hunter/jumper breeding programs and his get usually excel with athletic movement, a great jump and this truly impeccable temperament that we observe in Fari Diva as well. Rock Point also sired steeplechase champions, and with that, shows nicely how versatile a stallion he is. All traits that are saught after and cherished in the Trakehner breed.

Rock Point's sire Believe It xx was an equally successful race horse and producer. His pedigree certainly offers an important addition in the fact that there is none of the ever-present Northern Dancer xx blood up close. Blieve It's line goes back to the impeccable race horse Man O'War xx. In fact, this pedigree shows some nice line-breeding to Man O'War xx and thus gains in quality. A most noteworthy name in the maternal lines of Blieve It xx is the champion sire Buckpasser xx, a race horse of great success. In 1965, he was the champion 2 year old in the US, and also became champion 3 year old in 1966. In the same year, he also won the title of "Horse of the Year" and it will be a touch quest to start naming the amounts of successful offspring. Buckpasser xx is a true American legend!
