Trakehner mare family of O113A2 Caravelle (Wahler - Klosterhof Medingen)

C'est Bon was the Reserve Champion in Neumünster in 2004 - and like the champion Le Rouge, out of a daughter of the important Tycoon. His sire Distelzar was presenting his first crop in NMS that year and since then, has produced excellent sons many times, like the 2006 res champion Donaugold, the outstanding Herzog von Nassau, the great jumper Donauzar, and Donauzauber, Donauklang, Glanzruf and Hamilton. Distelzar was a price highlight at the Elite Auction in Medingen (600,000DM) and represented Germany at the FEI World Championships for Young Dressage horses. He won at S level in dressage and is now living in Swizerland with his owners. He remains at stud in Germany via frozen semen only and has no offspring in the United States, as far as we know. So far! The bloodlines in his immediate pedigree couldn't really be much more proven: international dressage stallion EH Gribaldi on top of Arogno and Matador!

The dam Coonya comes from a famous mare family that originated with a pinto line in East Prussia (O113A Karin, Schulze-Puspern) and branched out into this C-family that is known for especially athletic and performance proven horses. Sire Tycoon is the only approved son of the great international show jumper Donaumonarch in the Trakehner breed, and is a very close relative to the international show jumpers Trenk and Tiflis, as well as the approved stallions Tolstoi and Turnus. He is known as a producer of great movement, especially in trot and canter, and has several high profile performance horses among his get, e.g. the recently importaed CIC*** eventing mare Amazing Grace TSF. The second dam Charisma is also dam of the approved Caprimond-son Chronist (formerly Sommerlade, now in Switzerland), and Caravelli, the third dam, Caravelli, was also a top show jumper. Her dam is famous Cravelle, the foundation mare of this branch, and by Ramzes AA, one of the most important improvement sires of worldwide warmblood breeding. He was the foundat8ion of Holstein's great Ramiro line and Westfalia's exceptional Rubinstein. This great mare family also produced the approved Crambambuli, and is really known for a number of performance hroses at all levels and disciplines.

At Fairwind Farm, C'est Bon is the sire of the 2008 colt High Light.
